As has become a tradition the European Cultural Foundation launches its’ annual magazine – Common Ground – on Europe Day at Atheaneum Nieuwscentrum in Amsterdam.

The 2026 edition features interviews and contributions by a wide variety of authors and artists, from the networks around our foundation. Expect focus on  ‘Libraries for Europe’, the opening of the ECF Archives, democratic resilience in Hungary and ‘Transformation in Literature‘.

In collaboration with Atheaneum Nieuwscentrum we compiled a suggested reading list. Customers who purchase one of the nine titles on this list [in Dutch] get a copy of the magazine for free.
