International Network of Street Papers

The International Network of Street papers is a global community of independent publications, journalists, editors, social entrepreneurs and readers who work to empower people experiencing homelessness, poverty, marginalization and isolation to earn an income and have their story heard. We do this through the unique street paper model: people facing social and economic marginalisation sell newspapers and magazines on the street for a profit to create a sustainable income for themselves, and so improving their lives and their communities.

All of our member street papers are social enterprises or not-for-profit organisations who are driven by the aim to support people, not make profits for shareholders. This Europe Day, we will be showcasing a selection of these innovative street paper enterprises which prove that media can be a force for good and can transform lives.

As an international network, we know that great things can happen when we work together across borders. The more people read and support street papers, the more we can change lives and create a more inclusive world where everyone is heard.

You can follow the International Network of Street Papers on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.
