Description
Oodi’s open jubilee seminar will discuss Europe’s independence in a turbulent world, Finland’s position and the EU’s future financial framework under the leadership of top politicians and top experts.
This year’s speakers include Executive Vice-President of the European Commission Henna Virkkunen, Minister for European Affairs and Ownership Steering Joakim Strand and Members of the European Parliament Eero Heinäluoma, Elsi Katainen, Jussi Saramo and Maria Ohisalo.
The discussion programme will be held on the 3rd floor of Oodi on the Saarikoski rug. In addition, various organisations and embassies will present their activities at the street-level European Square. In addition, there will be musical performances by the EU Pensioners’ Jazz Orchestra Rubato and Tapiola Upper Secondary School students, and a quiz at the EU@Oodi point. As usual, there will also be Europe Day cake coffee at 14.00!
