Description
9 May is not only the anniversary of the Schuman Declaration, but also an opportunity to celebrate Europe’s diversity. This year, Europe Day in Wrocław will be especially open to international students who, thanks to the Erasmus+ program, discover the city of meetings.
The beach volleyball tournament “Set 4 Europe” is a unique event combining physical activity, international integration and European values. Participation in the competition is not only an opportunity for sports competition, but also a unique opportunity for international integration. The event is designed to combine physical activity with building international relations, while promoting European values such as cooperation, fair play and solidarity.
Event schedule:
- 09:00–09:30 – Registration of participants, collection of starter packages,
- 09:45 – Official opening of the Tournament – Prof. Renata Krzyżyńska (Vice-Rector of the Wrocław University of Technology for Cooperation with the Environment) and Joanna Sterzyńska-Lindberg (Director of the Regional Representation of the European Commission in Poland),
- 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. – First meetings,
- 12:00 p.m. – 12:30 p.m. – Integration break,
- 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. – Subsequent matches, including semi-finals and the match for 3rd place,
- 2:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – Tournament final,
- 3:00 p.m. – Closing ceremony of the tournament and award ceremony.
