EuropaNacht

9 May 2026
20:00 — 03:00
Amsterdam, Netherlands
By De Kiesmannen, YUSU and Ray Fuego

At a time when Europe must reinvent itself, it is time to come together. What do Europe’s promises of peace, democracy, and human rights still mean today? Can our continent regroup while Trump, Putin, and Xi seek to outmaneuver us? The moment is ours. That is why De Kiesmannen and YUSU present: EuropaNacht – Promises.

During this show and night programme (20:00–03:00) on 9 May, we celebrate what we love about Europe while also questioning what needs to improve. We dance, think, and act. Because EuropaNacht is more than a party. With a line-up of unique partners, artists, speakers, and DJs, we will create an unforgettable evening and night. In the darkness we make plans, shine a light on what often remains hidden, and confess our deepest hopes.

We kick off the evening in the Main Hall with a show by De Kiesmannen. Together with leading voices Clarice Gargard, Simon van Teutem, and Saman Amini, we explore Europe’s role in the new world order.

After that, the night unfolds across all the rooms of Paradiso. With talks, art, and music from a wide range of speakers and partners, including Simone Tukker, Sinan Çankaya, Roel Maalderink, Jip van den Toorn, and Annemarie Lekkerkerker, as well as speed-dating with Ballenbingo and the Van Gogh Museum. The Main Hall will be taken over by Kingdom Sound, TINS, Ray Fuego, and Tida Kamara. In the basement, YUSU will host a rave featuring Malindi B2B Bibitiana B2B Fendi and EUROTECH.

EuropaNacht is co-funded by the European Union as part of the research programme Democracy in Action.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
