Description
On May 8 in Castellón de la Plana the Provincial Council of Castellón through the official European Information Center, Europe Direct Castelló, together with the General Directorate of European Funds of the Generalitat Valenciana organize the act of commemoration of Europe Day, May 9.
From 10:00 a.m. there will be activities and dynamics “40 years of Spain in the EU” for all citizens that consist of:
- ⏪ EU Past — What Were We Like in 1986?
- ▶ EU present — European values
- ⏩ Future of the EU — A Player of the Future
Además de esas actividades, habrá distintos espacios para inmortalizar la celebración:
- European photocall with photobooth with instant printing
- Compilation mural of the creatives of the Europe Day Contest
- Podcast space “UE Grabando”
- Delivery of merchandising produced on the occasion of Europe Day
The event will end with the opening by the President of the Provincial Council of Castellón, Marta Barrachina, of the awards ceremony of the IV Ed. Europe in Letters and Colors Contest of the Europe Direct Castelló Center and the drawing, comic and reel contests of the DG European Funds of the Generalitat Valenciana by the Regional Secretary of Institutional Policy and Territorial Cohesion, the Regional Secretariat for Relations with the EU and the Regional Secretariat for Representation to the European Union and the Autonomous Communities and External Action.
Finally, at around 1:30 p.m., the event will close with the intervention of the Molt Honorable President of the Generalitat Valenciana, Juan Francisco Pérez Llorca.
It should be noted that the celebration will be attended by the Ambassador Schools of the European Parliament of the province of Castellón and members of the European Hub of the province.
