By Rahbeks Højskoles ungeforum, AGORA
AGORA’s events are for everyone under the age of 30:
On the occasion of Liberation Day on 4/5, AGORA invites you to a meeting about the heroes of Europe – this time about the Czech freedom hero Jan Kubiš and his resistance group, which was behind the liquidation of the top Nazi Reinhard Heydrich. Churchill called Kubiš and his group some of the bravest heroes of the war.
The event takes place at the invitation of the Czech Ambassador at the Czech Embassy at Ryvangs Allé 14, where Ambassador Jiří Ellinger welcomes us.
We meet at the Czech Embassy at 16:00 and are there until 17:30.
Afterwards we have dinner. Here you can either bring your own dinner or pay DKK 100 extra and get food.
Then we move on to the Memorial Park, where we participate in the ceremony and honour of the Danish resistance fighters on the occasion of Liberation Day.
Finally, we go to Bopa Plads and have a beer, where everyone is very welcome to join.
You are welcome to:
Only to come to the presentation at the Czech embassy (until 5.30 p.m.).
To go to the Memorial Park and join until 21.00.
To be with you all the way: At the Czech embassy, in the Memorial Park and afterwards for a beer at Bopa Plads.
