Once again, the Asón-Agüera-Trasmiera Local Action Group celebrates Europe Day, which we commemorate every May 9th, through literature.

The “Rural Europe” competition is now in its ninth year, following changes last year that boosted participation in both categories. The competition is open to all genres, so in addition to the traditional micro-stories, other texts such as poems, micro-essays, short reflections, and more are also welcome. Anything goes, as long as it doesn’t exceed 250 words.

As always, there are two categories (under 18 and adults) with one prize each, and two conditions that are added to the number of words: that the texts reflect/mention/are inspired by… both the Asón-Agüera-Trasmiera region (or any of its elements) and Europe.
